Our Story
I built Aktubot because I experienced the same frustration many people face when trying to plan their weekends in the UAE.
Despite living in a country full of incredible experiences, discovering what to do often means scrolling endlessly through social media, messaging multiple accounts, waiting for replies, and still feeling unsure if an experience is right. Over time, this friction turns excitement into hesitation—and many great moments never happen.
Through my work and personal interests, especially around nature, sustainability, and meaningful experiences, I realized the problem wasn’t a lack of activities. It was a lack of clarity, curation, and simplicity.
Aktubot started as a simple idea: what if discovering and planning experiences felt as intentional and effortless as the experiences themselves? A place where people could explore curated options, understand them clearly, and make decisions without stress or wasted time.
This is still the beginning. Aktubot is being built openly, shaped by real user behavior and feedback, with the goal of creating a better way to experience what the UAE has to offer, one meaningful moment at a time.
